close call mistake
I think it's more like a mistake. MD wrote 1ucg vasopressin. I assumed that he meant 1 unit vasopressin since vasopressin only come in "unit". It turned out he meant to write 1 mcg desmopressin for diabetes insipitus. Both drugs are antidiuretic but vasopressin is usally used in acls in hypotension pt for vasoconstriction. Luckily Rn gave on 1 unit and cause no harm to the pt. If she assumed 1 ml=20units. this could be a fatal mistake. Mistake felt into both MD and PharmD's responsibility.
lesion: I should question this order the first place.
